Australian Unity’s Retirement Living portfolio spans Victoria and New South Wales and includes a broad range of community care, consumer-directed care, day respite, in-home respite and residential transition care places, retirement villages and residential aged care facilities (catering for low care needs through to high care and dementia specific needs). Our facilities offer more than 1,830 retirement home units, 451 aged care beds and 180 ambulatory and community care packages.
This span of services means we can cater to all of the needs of our residents and clients and appropriately plan additional services as they are required (including carer support services). Our long history as a recognised and award winning provider of accommodation and services for older Australians means that we have proven management capabilities, comprehensive systems and processes that help our staff to support our residents and clients and we also have a solid foundation for organisational growth.
Most significantly, Australian Unity Retirement Living incorporates the eight internationally-recognised indicators of wellbeing (as determined by the Australian Unity Wellbeing Index) into all elements of our service delivery models. These ‘Wellbeing Domains’ include health, achievements, security, safety, living standards, relationships, spirituality and community connectedness and means that the wellbeing of our retirement community residents and clients really is at the heart of everything we do.
Our business approach is to support people in accommodation settings by providing a range of health, lifestyle and care services, that support their personal and community wellbeing.
